HUGS In the Mail: Alphabet Dies

Put Your Investments To Work

Use up those PML (pocket) cards and bust out your valuable Alphabet Dies.

Today we will create some beautiful HUGS for a bit of Happy Mail.

Die Cuts are an investment well worth their weight considering how versatile they are. Pair them with those leftover PML (pocket) cards included in each paper pack, and you are a thrifty crafter after my own heart. Dies are on sale the month of March so grab them now if you want to add to your collection at 25-30% off.
One Chelsea Gardens PML sheet created these SIX beautiful, dimensional HUGS cards.
Why not make a set that says HUGS and another that says THANKS?
I used the Clear Shimmer Brush and a variety of Inks on images from Chelsea Gardens Scrapbooking Stamp Set to jazz up these cards. Squeeze your stamp pad lid into the pad. Open your Ink Pad using your Shimmer Brush to then pick up the ink on the LID as your palette.
I used plenty of Foam Dimensional Tape for most cards, but I also just "inlaid" some of the HUGS letters into the negative space of the 4x5.25 cutouts.
Here are the steps:
Assemble as shown:
Supplies: Inks: Pixie, Raspberry, Canary, Juniper, Sweet Leaf and Black Archival used to stamp all images to prevent bleeding from coloring.
Additional Cardstock Needed: 3 4x5.25 White Daisy to Emboss and
1 4.1x5.3 Glacier to undermount card 5 (with 3 butterflies on it).

Featured Supplies:

*Qualifies for Stamp of the Month at $5. Be sure to add it if you like it.

I want to credit and thank JennierMcGuireInk for her amazing YouTube Video inspiring this project.
